Predicting Food Insecurity

This project leveraged Python via Jupyter Notebooks to compare two USDA datasets to identify household variables that increased the likelihood of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) eligibility. QGIS was used to visualize these predictions by state.

Large Scale Forest Planning

An in-depth look into the 2012 Forest Planning Rule provides the rationality behind the development of an ArcGIS StoryMap to justify the implementation of a new water quality monitoring program. The creation of webmaps utilizing Esri’s Living Atlas add to the visually pleasing narrative as they educate policy makers and the public on local watershed health.


Developing and Hosting a Property Tax Application

Using Python and ArcPy, this project calculated 2021 property tax data for a subset of cleaned Tarrent County data. A secure ArcGIS server was setup and the map was loaded for use in an app via ArcGIS Web AppBuilder .


Field Collection Workflows, Mobile Map Packages and Dashboards

A collection of projects that leveraged field applications including ArcGIS Collector, ArcGIS Workforce, Survey123 and ArcGIS Dashboards to create and manage solutions for an assortment of city planning activities.
